Terms

Clear upfront.

What you can expect from me, and I from you.

1. Who and what

These terms apply to all paintings, commissioned paintings and branding projects by Nine June Studio (Reena, The Hague, Chamber of Commerce 85707872).

2. Prices

Prices for paintings and commissions include 9% VAT. Prices for branding exclude VAT. Starting prices are a guideline; the final price is stated in the quote or confirmation you receive from me.

3. Payment

You pay by the invoice you receive from me, within the term stated on it. For commissions and branding projects I may ask for a deposit upfront; if so, it is stated in the quote.

4. Delivery and shipping

Delivery times are an indication. Paintings are carefully packed and shipped, or can be picked up for free in The Hague. Risk passes to you when you receive the painting.

5. Cooling-off period

If you buy an existing painting at a distance as a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period after receipt. Let me know within that period; you then return the painting undamaged and well packed, and I refund the purchase price within 14 days. Commissioned paintings are made especially for you, in your colours and size. No cooling-off period applies to them.

6. Commissions

A commissioned painting is an original, made by hand. Colours and texture may therefore differ from photos and examples. That is part of the work and not a reason for rejection.

7. Branding

What exactly I make is stated in the quote, including how many feedback rounds are included. Any extra work outside the quote is agreed upfront.

8. Copyright

Copyright of paintings stays with me; you are of course free to hang, show and photograph the painting. For branding, after full payment you receive the right to use the logo, colour palette and other designs for your own brand. I may show the work in my portfolio and on social media.

9. Complaints

Not happy? Let me know as soon as possible via ninejunestudio96@gmail.com, and we'll find a solution together.

10. Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.
